Healthy cookies is on my list of recipes to find...and you should definitely try the wheat germ in this cupcake recipe. And the more I think about it, if you called them muffins instead of cupcakes, I probably wouldn't have minded the wheat germ at all :)Alissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12253697199861256366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-201280472786092371.post-19425983914018598992009-12-08T10:01:30.987-05:002009-12-08T10:01:30.987-05:00Ooh! What an interesting idea!<br />I've always been a big fan of wheat germ - like eating it like cereal when I was young - and I tried a recipe for wheat germ cookies when I was living in Seattle. I liked them, but since I was living alone I don't know if anyone else would have. (They came out as fat cookies, so more like muffins.)Ann Bradenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06948850218207863022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-201280472786092371.post-18468050542304957142009-12-08T09:21:19.638-05:002009-12-08T09:21:19.638-05:00I didn't know you saw her! Kind of random, but she was part of the lecture series put on by my town's mothers forum. I liked her response to the criticism that we shouldn't have to "sneak" healthy food into our kids: she DOES advocate putting out (non-hidden) vegetables at every meal, and believes that kids are more likely to try them when you're not pressuring them to do so (which you don't have to do because you know they're already getting their veggies in another form).Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07885876865792018911noreply@blogger.com
